About the event
The digital world plays a big part in how boys learn, socialise, build friendships and develop their sense of identity. While technology offers many benefits, it can also expose young people to harmful content, unrealistic expectations, negative influences and online communities that can affect their attitudes, behaviour and wellbeing.
More and more parents are concerned about the messages boys are seeing online, including content about masculinity, relationships and gender that can be misleading or harmful. Social media algorithms can make it easy for young people to be repeatedly exposed to these ideas without realising it.
Join the Equilibrium Project for this practical and supportive webinar designed to help parents understand the online world their sons are growing up in. We'll explore the influences boys may encounter online, how these can shape attitudes and behaviour, and what parents can do to encourage critical thinking, resilience and healthy digital habits.
